Your Home Studio

What's that?? You didn't know you had a home studio?? Well, YOU DO!! Isn't that cool?!?! I absolutely ADORE coming to people's homes and turning it into a place to capture GORGEOUS lifestyle portraits that will be treasured and hung on your walls forever!! This is my specialty!! Here are 3 reasons why...

_______________________________________________________________________

1) Often, I give a fresh perspective on what you see every day.

It is so easy to walk around your house and forget about how fabulous it looks!! I know as a wife and mommy, most of the time all I see is the laundry and dishes piled high!! BUT Every house I walk into has character. The way you decorate shows off your personality. The colors on the walls provide a sense of peace, excitement, and fun to the place. Ultimately, these things help nourish the home atmosphere!  And that, my friend, is exactly the fresh perspective and reminder that I can give you through your portraits!

2) You and your family are more comfortable at home.

Especially when you have young children, they are just more comfortable at home. Therefore, having a session at your home is perfect. You don't have to get ready early because I come to you. If littleone spills something on their shirt, we can run and change in a jiffy. The man of the house is getting hungry...No problem! There are snacks in the fridge!! Everything is at your fingertips, available in your home studio. :)

3) It is easy to incorporate personal and treasured fragile items.

This is especially true for a newborn session. My daughter was named after both her grandmothers, so for her newborn portraits, I added Grandmom's handmade quilt into the set up for her to lay on. Now, that prop was easy to move around, but what if you have an old sofa Papaw gave you, or a baby cradle passed down through generations from Aunt Buttons, or a baby grand piano that is special to your high school musician? It eventually gets a little tricky for you to bring all the props. It is a WHOLE lot easier to just move the sweet person from room to room to create the exact look that you want for your portraits.

Thanks for reading!! I hope to come to your home studio in the future!!

                                                                                           Many Blessings,

                                                                                                  Calli
